Day 1 · Dinner

Welcome to Jakarta

Arrive at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and meet your guide. Visit the National Monument (Monas) for panoramic views over the capital and the impressive Istiqlal Mosque, the largest mosque in Southeast Asia. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Indonesian cuisine.

Day 2 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Scenic Train Journey to Bandung

Travel in Executive Class by train through the beautiful landscapes of West Java, one of Indonesia's most scenic railway journeys. In Bandung, the "Paris of Java", enjoy an orientation tour of its elegant colonial buildings and Art Deco architecture, followed by a traditional Sundanese dinner.

Day 3 · Breakfast & Lunch

Exploring the Highlands of Bandung

Head into the cool highlands of Lembang to visit the charming Farm House and the colourful Floating Market. Learn about West Java's textile traditions and visit the iconic Gedung Sate, one of Indonesia's finest examples of Dutch colonial architecture. Evening free in Bandung.

Day 4 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Journey Across Central Java

Travel east towards Semarang, stopping in Pekalongan, a UNESCO Creative City famous for its centuries-old batik craftsmanship. In Semarang, visit the famous Lawang Sewu colonial landmark and the magnificent Great Mosque of Central Java, before a dinner of regional Javanese specialities.

Day 5 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Borobudur & Mount Merapi Adventure

Visit Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist monument on Earth and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by the nearby Mendut and Pawon Temples. Experience the volcanic landscapes of Mount Merapi aboard a private 4WD Jeep before continuing to Yogyakarta, the cultural heart of Java.

Day 6 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Royal Yogyakarta & Prambanan

Explore vibrant Malioboro Street, then visit the magnificent Prambanan Temple, Indonesia's largest Hindu temple complex and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, travel to the royal city of Solo for a dinner inspired by Javanese royal court recipes.

Day 7 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Solo Palace & Mount Bromo Highlands

Visit the elegant Mangkunegaran Palace and its remarkable royal collections. Continue by modern highway to the Mount Bromo region — the overnight stop in Solo makes today's journey far more comfortable than the usual long cross-island drive. Relax at your mountain lodge before tomorrow's early start.

Day 8 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Sunrise at Mount Bromo

Rise before dawn and travel by private 4WD Jeep across the volcanic Sea of Sand to the famous sunrise viewpoint overlooking Mount Bromo and its spectacular caldera. Descend to Malang to pick fresh apples at a local orchard, visit Tanggulangin leather village, and continue to Surabaya.

Day 9 · Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Surabaya & Madura Island

Discover Surabaya's maritime heritage at the Submarine Monument and Heroes Monument, then cross the impressive Suramadu Bridge to Madura Island to explore the striking limestone landscapes of Bukit Jaddih and Arosbaya. Visit a traditional batik workshop before a festive farewell dinner.

Day 10 · Breakfast

Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Juanda International Airport for your onward flight home — or continue your holiday with a short flight to Bali.
